What HID and xenon mean?
HID abbreviation stands for High Intensity Discharge lighting
system. This next generation of lighting equipment delivers extremely
intense illumination by producing an electric ark inside a bulb
filled with xenon gas. HID requires less power and delivers more
and better light, compared to halogen.

Sanyotecnica's xenon HDF-25 fog lights are two times brighter than halogen lights! HID xenon beam is about two times closer to daytime sunlight when compared to halogen. Besides being brighter, HID light illuminates wider area in front of the vehicle. With better visibility in poor weather and late at night, possibility of accidents is reduced significantly. Improved safety and reduced fatigue lead to more comfortable driving experience.
Environment Friendly
The life of HID xenon bulb is approximately 2000 hours while the life of halogen bulb is about 200 hours to 400 hours. HID xenon consumes half the power necessary for halogen, reducing significantly load on the battery and prolonging its life. In addition HID generates less heat during operation.
Installation Procedures
- Before starting the installation, disconnect battery minus terminal to ensure safety.
- Connect one of the fog lamps to igniter's controller.
- Connect the igniter to inverter's controller.
- Connect the inverter to extension cords (red and black).
- Connect commercially available relay and switch. Both are not included in the kit.
- Repeat procedures from 1to 5 for the other lamp.
- Besides the components and accessories bundled with this product, the only parts to buy separately are relay and switch.
