What does Lux (lx) mean?

  • The Lux (symbol: lx) is the SI unit of illuminance and luminous emittance. It is used as a measure of the intensity of light, with wavelengths weighted according to the luminosity function, a standardized model of human brightness perception. The difference between the lux and the lumen is that the lux takes into account the area over which the luminous flux is spread. 1000 lumens, concentrated into an area of one square meter, lights up that square meter with a luminance of 1000 lux. The same 1000 lumens, spread out over ten square meters, produces a dimmer illuminance of only 100 lux.

Installation Procedure

Turn off the switch and cool down the car interior lamp completely before replacing the bulb.

Insert a flat-blade screwdriver into the gap between the lens and interior lamp body. Carefully remove the lamp cover. 		LED car interior lamp　RL series
Remove factory-installed bulb.

Install Sanyotecnica RL LED light

To complete the installation attach the lamp cover back.

* LEDs have polarity. If product doesn't light up, shift the direction of its electrodes.

Light emitting area of LED should not interfere with any metal parts, as there is a danger of short circuit. Use insulation tape to separate the LED from metal surfaces.
